COVID-19 Best Practices & Resources
COVID-19 Safety Plan
You will need one when you return to work and by clicking below you can customize a plan for your company.
Additional templates and resources for your employees and worksite safety are provided by NAHB, including posters/signage for your to put up at your jobsite.
*BE PREPARED TO SHARE YOUR SAFETY PLAN WITH INSPECTORS! As building officials in the City of Kalamazoo start to re-open, they want to be sure their workers are safe, and that you are using Best Practices on your jobsite.
Gather Your Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
In addition to your plan you need the PPE to go with it. Specific items that will be looked at when returning to work: Wear a Mask - any face covering (cloth, bandana, etc.) or mask over nose and mouth to prevent spread of virus will do. Hand Sanitizer - this must be available to your employees on both the job site and in the work truck. See local PPE Suppliers HERE.
Stay in Touch with Your Clients
Your clients are just as eager as you are (yes, they've been contacting us) for work to continue one their project, but they don't have the knowledge or expertise that you do. This is a huge financial investment for them, so please take this time to reassure them their project is still top of mind.
